Now, I’m the first one to confess that I can become a little obsessed, neigh addicted, to certain “things” now and again. Often these pan out to be mere “phases” in my ongoing strive to be aesthetically pleased (and pleasing … Continue reading
So much more than a Shed

A Bit of Christmas Crafting
Season’s Greetings! Hope you’re well? Knee deep in wrapping paper and chocolates I’m sure…
And if you’re not feeling festive yet, perhaps I can get you in the mood with talk of mulled wine, mince pies and…knitting (obvs!)
As you might remember, last year I made some hot water bottle covers for my friend’s shop Captured By.
I’ve not been able to make anything new this time, so instead, Emma & Anita invited me over to Columbia Road on Wednesday to give a machine knitting demo…we had such a great night!
So I pitched up in the corner with my machine, yarns (and mince pies) and invited lots of people to take a seat to try it out for themselves.
Here’s a snippet of their success…
But don’t worry, you’ve not missed out…Columbia Road stores will be open next Wednesday night too, and I’ll be back at Captured By from 6pm.
So, if you fancy a bit of prosecco-fuelled knitting-fun, come by and say Hello.
Oh, and Merry Christmas!
No. 83
Come in, come in, take a pew and let’s catch up, it has been too long! Apologies for the neglect, but to make up for it, I have some exciting news to share… we are now the proud owners of … Continue reading
Colourbursts!
Today, I thought I’d go for a more visual story. I’ve been snapping a few bold, bright and beautiful colours around town, and thought (post-filter) you might like to see them too. I’ve added the locations so you can check them out yourself! … Continue reading
Desperate to D.I.Y.
One word (or is it more of a sound)…PHEW! I. Am. Tired. Since starting my new job, I’ve been busy settling in and working hard which has left very little time for being crafty! That said, I’ve still had itchy … Continue reading
10 steps to happiness
It’s February. Already. How did that happen?! The whirl-wind that was January has kept me busy and thoroughly distracted by house/flat/shoebox hunting; alas there’s no good news on that front just yet. So today I decided to take some therapeutic … Continue reading
Crossing a Milestone

Merry Christmas, to you.

Super Sunday
Yesterday. Was. Brilliant. Sitting proudly at the end of a not so quiet street, with its door flung wide open (despite the cold) is East London’s newest resident…Captured By. Two sisters have set up shop with a collection of products … Continue reading
